Mare Island Technology Academy
The MIT Academy is Vallejo’s first “charter” school, and accommodates 780 students — half of which are 6th thru 8th grade with the other half in high school. To discourage interaction between the various age groups, the campus is divided by a common area with a large multi-purpose building and administrative offices.
