St. Catherine’s Wood — Benicia, CA

The site of this development is of the former St. CatherineÕs Academy for girls, which was torn down in 1966. The design intent was that each one of the homesites be developed to reflect the quaint character and historic nature of Benicia.

The homes shown are just a few examples. Most of the hillside lots have severe slopes and have posed some design challenges. The homes appear from the front to be one story, but the slopes allows us to tuck into the lot with two stories.

All the homes have been inspired by various architectural styles of historic Benicia, but have been accented with contemporary details and floor plan.
